Baby Chicks

The baby chicks are already in stock at the local farm supply store!~

It seems early, but if this weather continues to be this nice in Michigan, why not!~ We don't need to add any to our flock this time around, but I do have to clean the coop!~ 

Good thing I woke up with a "no excuses" frame of mind!~  If only those little chicks stayed that little (along with everything that comes with them). 

We do love the eggs though, so "no complaints" is a great motto for today too :).

Chicks & Roses

It's spring at Forrester Farm, which means that new baby chicks are sharing our work space until they are a little bit older and able to be outside.  These little ones are named Betty, Chip & Winston. 

This past weekend, we were blessed to provide flowers for two different weddings.  Taking pictures of the chicks took place in the midst of design work. (They really didn't want to pose). One wedding consisted of tulips and calla lilies, the other, roses and oriental lilies.
