Blooms, Berries and Spring Weddings

These blooms and berries!!!  
What a treat to work with such beautiful colors for a wedding this past Saturday.

With every wedding that I work on, I take several "behind the scenes" photos of the flowers.  I love when we get the professional photos of the wedding and couple, but it is always nice to see the floral photos soon after the wedding.

It is always interesting to see the difference in flower color in the photos between those taken in natural light and those taken in our work space (like the two photos above).

 

The couple that we created the flowers for were absolutely so sweet and we are very excited for them as they begin their new adventure as husband and wife!~

Colorful February Wedding

Our sweet bride is from Michigan and our charming groom is from Austria. They met in Thailand where they worked together in the mission field. They loved the idea of incorporating great fun, splashes of color designed with an Asian flair and a traditional twist into their wedding flowers.

The ceremony took place at Vergennes United Methodist Church in Lowell, MI.

Wedding Flower Glimpses

What a summer it has been so far!  We have been over the top busy with weddings this year and haven't taken the time to post many photos. Here are some snapshots of just a few of our June and July weddings.  Can't wait to see the professional photos from all of the weddings that we provided flowers for!

Not only have we been blessed to work with amazing couples and their families this wedding season, we have also been blessed to partner with so many wonderful location vendors who have helped to make special wedding day dreams come true!  Egypt Valley Country Club, The Cheney Place, WMU Conference Center, English Hills Country Club, Wege Plaza East Grand Rapids, East Congregational United Church of Christ, Fountain Street Church, The Salvation Army Kroc Center, The Grand Rapids Public Museum, and some very beautiful private residences!
